A second life
for soil bags.
Custom wearables and carryalls made from the packaging gardeners already recognize.
Made in the USA at our Richmond facility:
All three products—the vest, bucket hat, and large totes.

Packaging with
a new purpose.
Haberdash transformed Miracle-Gro soil bags into a custom vest and bucket hat for the brand’s campaign photography.
The yellow and green packaging became the surface of each piece, with the original logos, plant imagery, and printed details carried into the finished products. The vest combines a zip front with multiple pockets; the matching bucket hat brings the same material into a familiar silhouette.
Miracle-Gro shared the finished look on its official Instagram account.

02 / The carryalls
From soil bag
to tote bag.
Before the vest and hat, we also made large tote bags for Miracle-Gro using the brand’s soil packaging.
Both projects take an existing brand material and turn it into something people can carry or wear. We cut and sewed the totes, vest, and bucket hat at our Richmond, Virginia facility.
The video below, shared by Idaho Flower Pot and Miracle-Gro, shows a soil-bag tote out in the garden.
